The Erzi “Puddles” balance board is made of solid, varnished birch plywood and features plastic panels. The unique advantage of this piece of balancing equipment is the changing dynamics between the solid birch plywood base and the softer, dynamic plastic panels. Switching between them improves balance and provides tactile stimuli when children walk barefoot along the balance beam. This balance board can be attached to other elements, such as rockers or rungs, using the milled grooves.
